In anticipation of its March release, Dark Sky Films has unveiled a poster and trailer for writer-director Saïd Belktibia’s French thriller, Hood Witch.
Golshifteh Farahani (Extraction, Invasion) plays a mother who develops an app connecting users with mystical marabout healers. However, after a tragic incident occurs following a client's consultation, she must confront a violent backlash. Watch the trailer below.
Nour earns her living by smuggling exotic animals and illegal goods. Hoping to take her son out of the city and provide him with a brighter future, she creates a mobile app that links clients to marabouts. While the app becomes successful, one client’s consultation turns disastrous.
Hood Witch is set to be released in theaters on March 21st.
