While her husband (Skarsgård) seeks solace in a new church, Janice struggles to find comfort in her faith, despite her pastor urging her to heal by meeting the mothers of her son's victims. As Janice contemplates the potential impact of such a meeting on herself and her community, "ERIC LARUE" prompts viewers to observe the emotional turmoil that violent actions can create.
