The latest update for Endzone 2 introduces educational elements to the post-apocalyptic setting.
Assemble Entertainment and Gently Mad Studio have launched a new update for their post-apocalyptic colony builder, Endzone 2, now available on Steam Early Access. This update introduces education and bulletin boards for those looking to reclaim humanity in the wasteland. Check out the new trailer for an overview of the update.
The latest update for Endzone 2 allows settlement builders to establish their own education system and nurture the next generation of survivors. The addition of schools will offer children a place to learn essential skills for sustaining the settlement's prosperity.
Education brings the need for large quantities of paper, resulting in the requirement for paper mills, which will depend on the new reed crops grown near swamps. These changes create new job opportunities for settlers. Additionally, players can earn new badges to boost the productivity of their zones.
A new feature, the Bulletin Board, has been introduced in the form of a blackboard located in the town center. This will enable players to easily access new missions and in-game events.
The update also adds underground expeditions, allowing players to explore hidden subterranean structures that may contain the secrets of the Endzones and the previous world.
Endzone was a significant success, and Endzone 2 appears to be just as promising. Anticipate the full release coming this July.
