
Netflix releases a trailer for the action-thriller Bullet Train Explosion.
Netflix has released a poster and trailer for Bullet Train Explosion, directed by Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla), which is a reimagining of Junya Sato’s 1975 Japanese action thriller The Bullet Train.
The plot follows authorities racing to save the lives of the passengers and crew on a bullet train heading to Tokyo, after the Shinkansen General Operation Control Center receives a phone call stating that a bomb has been planted on the train, set to explode if the speed drops below 100 km/h.
The cast includes Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Kanata Hosoda, Non, Jun Kaname, Machiko Ono, Hana Toyoshima, Daisuke Kuroda, Satoru Matsuo, Suzuka Ohgo, Matsuya Onoe, Naomasa Musaka, Pierre Taki, Yajuro Bando, and Takumi Saitoh. You can watch the trailer below.
A suspenseful call reached the Shinkansen General Operation Control Center. The caller alleges that a bomb is planted on the Hayabusa No. 60 train traveling to Tokyo, which will detonate if the train's speed falls below 100 km/h. The caller demands a ransom of 100 billion yen to deactivate the bomb. A race against time ensues as the crew, passengers, and railway workers struggle to avert the explosion. Will the Hayabusa No. 60 be able to navigate this perilous situation?
Bullet Train Explosion premieres on Netflix on April 23rd.
