Michelle Williams is Eager for Romance in the trailer for the Disney+ limited series.
Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer and poster for the comedy-drama miniseries Dying For Sex.
Inspired by Nikki Boyer’s Wondery podcast of the same name, the series features Michelle Williams as Molly, a woman recently diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer who opts to leave her husband of 15 years to pursue her sexual desires before her life comes to an end.
FX’s “Dying for Sex” draws from the story of Molly Kochan, which was originally shared on a Wondery podcast with her best friend, Nikki Boyer. Following her diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, Molly (played by Michelle Williams) decides to part ways with her husband, Steve (Jay Duplass), and begins to explore the depths and intricacies of her sexual desires for the first time in her life.
Brace yourself; Molly has much to achieve in the short time she has left. There’s no room for clutching pearls or passing judgment; Molly is not concerned about anyone's opinions regarding her so-called bucket list (by the way, this phrase will always induce an eye roll). She finds the courage to start this journey with the support of her steadfast friend, Nikki (Jenny Slate), a woman whose love and loyalty will prompt you to reach out to your own friend! The cast also includes Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy, and Sissy Spacek.
Dying for Sex will debut on Disney+ on April 4th.
