Prime Video has unveiled a trailer for The Narrow Road to the Deep North, an upcoming drama inspired by Richard Flanagan’s novel of the same title. Directed by Justin Kurzel (Assassin’s Creed, Nitram), the miniseries portrays the life of Dorrigo Evans, encompassing his experiences in a prisoner of war camp, his romantic relationship with Amy Mulvaney, and his later years as a respected surgeon.
The cast includes Jacob Elordi, Ciaran Hinds, Odessa Young, Olivia DeJonge, Heather Mitchell, Show Kasamatsu, Thomas Weatherall, and Simon Baker. Watch the trailer below...
The Narrow Road to the Deep North is a beautifully intense five-part series that explores the life of Dorrigo Evans (with Jacob Elordi portraying the younger version and Ciarán Hinds depicting the older version), detailing his passionate romance with Amy Mulvaney (Odessa Young), his captivity in a POW camp, and his subsequent years as a celebrated surgeon and reluctant war hero.
The Narrow Road to the Deep North will be available on Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand starting April 18th.
