Vampirella #1 - Preview of the Comic Book
Dynamite Entertainment is set to launch its new Vampirella series this Wednesday, and you can take a look at the first issue with the official preview below. The team of Christopher Priest and Ergun Gunduz is back to kick off “The Long Night”! Vampirella’s infant son, who was taken by her sinister twin Draculina, has now been returned to her. However, Vampi feels disconnected from the baby, lacking a bond with him, and starts to descend into postpartum depression, feeling lost and alone.
A mysterious individual named Cicero shows up, claiming to be Vampirella’s infant son who has somehow been sent back over 40 years from a dark future where Vampirella, filled with resentment, has become The Witch of Ashthorne, a ruthless matriarch responsible for a nuclear devastation. After finally saving her baby from Draculina, Cicero pleads with Vampirella to return the infant, for his sake and for the sake of the world.
Vampirella #1 will be released on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025.
