A new trailer has unveiled two additional roles for the Death Note Killer Within.
The online social deduction game Death Note Killer Within has introduced two new roles: Watari and NPA Chief. Previously, players could choose from only five roles: Kira, Mello, L, and his investigators. These new roles are part of L's team, making it even more difficult for Kira and Mello to remain undetected. Check out the new trailer below to see these roles in action.
In the anime, Watari serves as L’s trusted handler and assistant, and he will play a vital role in the game from the outset by discreetly exchanging information with L through a transceiver. This advantage aids L's investigation, as if Watari is eliminated, all players will be alerted, simplifying the process of identifying Kira.
The second new role is National Police Agency (NPA) Chief Soichiro Yagami. Players taking on this character can call for an emergency meeting and end the action phase at any time, though this can only be done once per game and not while a Kira Command Card is active.
Additionally, new downloadable content is now available, featuring a premium avatar of Soichiro Yagami dressed in pajamas with a Snot Bubble and Nightcap. Players can also access the Premium Customisation Track Vol. 4, which includes various customization parts and rewards, such as avatars for Watari and Soichiro Yagami, “Japanese Police Set” pets, nameplates, voiced cut-ins, and different accessories.
