A24 has unveiled a poster and a first-look featurette for The Legend of Ochi, in which writer-director Isaiah Saxon and star Finn Wolfhard discuss the upcoming fantasy film and showcase how practical effects were used to bring its charming mythical creature, a baby ochi, to life on screen; check it out here…
In a secluded northern village, a young girl named Yuri is taught to avoid the outdoors after dark and to fear the elusive forest creatures known as the ochi. When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she sets off on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family.
The Legend of Ochi will be released soon and features a cast that includes Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe.
