Significant updates are on the way for Starship Troopers: Extermination.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is set to receive two significant updates as the fight for Valaka progresses. These upcoming updates will introduce new gameplay mechanics, major optimizations, and a host of long-awaited features requested by the community.

In Update 1.3, players will experience a day and night cycle along with dynamic weather on Valaka, Boreas, and Agni Prime. These elements will provide a constantly evolving battlefield. Each planet will have its own distinct weather system, presenting new challenges to players. Additionally, new Extreme Weather Mutators, including thunderstorms, blizzards, and ashstorms, will be introduced. The Sandstorm Mutator has also been enhanced to feature varying intensities.

Players will no longer encounter interruptions during combat, as all weapons (with the exception of the Sp.L.I.T Shotgun and Sp.L.I.T Shotgun Slug) will include progressive reload stages. This change allows players to continue from the last checkpoint instead of restarting if they are interrupted in the middle of a reload.

Update 1.3 will also bring quality of life improvements, such as:

      - XP for Disconnections – Players will now receive XP if they disconnect due to crashes or server problems.

      - Enhanced Company System – Players can invite friends to their company directly from their profile or request to join a company.

In Update 1.4, which promises to be even more substantial, the highly anticipated Underbarrel Attachment for the Morita MK1 will be introduced. This feature will pave the way for future Morita MK2 and MK3 upgrades.

Moreover, players will have the chance to become Federation war reporters by locating Federal Network Broadcast Cameras on the battlefield to capture footage, helping to boost their squad's morale XP. This will also function as a side objective in ARC and Horde modes.

Stay tuned for these updates coming to Starship Troopers: Extermination later this year.
