      The Weeknd captivated the audience at CinemaCon with a live performance while unveiling the trailer for his upcoming film.

      Lionsgate introduced a new trailer for Hurry Up Tomorrow at CinemaCon today, giving a glimpse of the psychosexual chaos that awaits viewers.

      Based on The Weeknd’s sixth studio album of the same name, the latest preview promises an exciting blend of Trey Edward Shults’ direction, Abel Tesfaye’s music, and the dynamic performances of Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Hurry Up Tomorrow has received an “R” rating due to “language throughout, drug use, some bloody violence, and brief nudity.”

      The film follows a musician struggling with insomnia, who embarks on a journey with a stranger that begins to dismantle the very essence of his being.

      Trey Edward Shults directs the movie, which stars Abel Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan. The screenplay is co-written by Trey Edward Shults, Abel Tesfaye, and Reza Fahim.

      Hurry Up Tomorrow will be released exclusively in theaters on May 16th.
