Sam Mendes' The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event announces cast and release dates.

Just over a year after it was initially revealed that director Sam Mendes (American Beauty, 1917) was working on four distinct films centered around The Beatles, Sony has now made an official announcement regarding the release dates for The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, along with the actors who will portray the iconic group.

At this week's CinemaCon during Sony's presentation, Sam Mendes revealed the cast, which may not come as a surprise if you've been following the project: Harris Dickinson (Babygirl) as John Lennon, Paul Mescal (Gladiator II) as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan (Saltburn) as Ringo Starr.

The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes, features:

      - Harris Dickinson as John Lennon

      - Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney

      - Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr

      - Joseph Quinn as George Harrison

All four films are scheduled to hit theaters in April 2028, which Mendes described as the first “bingeable moment in cinema.” It remains unclear whether this means a simultaneous release for all four films or a weekly premiere throughout the month.
