Steel Hunters invites players into a realm where Corporations and Factions clash over a precious extraterrestrial resource, utilizing mighty mechanical giants known as Hunters. Each Hunter features its own unique playstyle, abilities, and progression systems, allowing for a diverse range of strategies on the battlefield.
During the Early Access phase, players will have access to seven Hunters: Razorside, Heartbreaker, Fenris, Ursus, Trenchwalker, Prophet, and Weaver, each of which can be customized and possesses unique abilities. Players can also anticipate the arrival of an additional Hunter during early access.
Initially, players will be able to battle across three maps: Crimson Ridge, Maryland Heights, and Stonecutter Keep. Each map will include destructible elements, meaning that those trying to take cover behind obstacles may not stay safe for long.
For those who have tried Steel Hunters, they will notice that the Last Stand mode has replaced Starfall Harvest as the main game mode, and the updated System Tree has taken the place of the original four-path progression. This new System Tree features a single, robust progression path with upgrades.
The first season of Steel Hunters launches with the inaugural Battle Pass, which will run until April 29th. This Battle Pass is free and will allow players to unlock exclusive skins and earn various rewards, boosters, and more.
Head over to Steam now to experience Steel Hunters for yourself.
