Orion Productions will be debuting its crime thriller Swing Bout digitally in the UK next month. Directed by Maurice O’Carroll and featuring Ciara Berkeley, Ben Condron, Frank Prendergast, Chrissie Cronin, and Sinead O’Riordan, the film centers around a young female boxer who is pressured by a dubious promoter to lose a fight that could be her chance at success; take a look at the trailer, poster, and promotional images below...
In boxing events, a series of quick knockouts can create gaps in the television schedule, which are filled with swing bouts. The boxers in these swing bouts might or might not compete, but they are expected to risk their lives on short notice. The story unfolds backstage at a major boxing event, where a young boxer embarks on a tumultuous journey from her dressing room to the ring, facing a night of deceit, betrayal, and life-changing choices.
Swing Bout will be available for digital release in the UK on May 12th, 2025.
