Giant Pictures has unveiled a poster and trailer for Absolute Dominion, a sci-fi martial arts action film directed and written by Lexi Alexander (known for Green Street and Punisher: War Zone).
Taking place in 2063, the movie depicts a scenario where global governing authorities convene to create a martial arts tournament, which they believe will serve as a new diplomatic approach. The winner is expected to bring peace to a world threatened by a widespread holy war.
The film features a cast that includes Désiré Mia, Andy Allo, Mario D’Leon, Alex Winter, Patton Oswalt, Junes Zahdi, Julie Ann Emery, Olunike Adeliyi, Alok Vaid-Menon, and John Siciliano. You can watch the trailer below.
In the year 2063 AD, the world is on the brink of disaster as extremists and zealots engage in a global holy war, leading to the destruction of cities and the collapse of nations in pursuit of spiritual supremacy. In a desperate attempt to rescue humanity from its own downfall, global leaders decide to implement a bold new diplomatic initiative known as The Battle of Absolute Dominion. This intense martial arts tournament will feature the world’s greatest fighters competing to crown a champion whose beliefs will guide humanity and restore future peace.
Absolute Dominion is scheduled to be released on May 9th.
