The post-apocalyptic open-world game DMZ: Nuclear Survival has been announced, complete with a trailer.

      Developer Wild Dog Inc. has announced their upcoming multiplayer open-world survival crafting game, DMZ: Nuclear Survival, during this year's Indie Live Expo. Set in a post-apocalyptic environment, players will collaborate to endure. View the announcement trailer below for more details.

      In DMZ: Nuclear Survival, players will immerse themselves in a world ravaged by nuclear war and navigate a vast, procedurally generated landscape. In this newly formed supercontinent, shaped by the destructive power of nuclear weapons causing tectonic upheavals, players can join forces to explore, unearth relics, construct bases, and strive for survival.

      This new realm showcases various biomes, including forests, grasslands, snowy terrains, and deserts. Players have the capability to dig or elevate the earth to create defenses and build formidable fortifications equipped with farms, factories, and vehicle workshops. Mines can also be excavated to retrieve hidden mineral deposits and ancient ruins using a range of tools.

      Throughout the world, players will encounter NPCs, which they can capture and bring back to their base to become allies such as scouts and medics, as well as fulfill other roles like farmers and scientists. There is also a feature for breeding NPCs. Players can tame various animals like bears, wolves, and ostriches to assist in training. On the military side, players can extract genes from relics and bones to resurrect ancient warriors.

      The game will include both PvE and competitive PvP multiplayer modes, with dedicated servers supporting over 100 players. An offline single-player mode will also be available, giving solo gamers a comprehensive experience.
