
Jessica Chastain is set to return to the horror genre in Rob Savage's film, Incidents Around The House.

As reported by Deadline, the Oscar-winning actress, known for her roles in Mama and It: Chapter Two, is set to star in an adaptation of Josh Malerman's Incidents Around the House.
Nathan Elston from Succession will pen the script, which centers around an eight-year-old girl named Bela. She finds out that a malevolent entity called "Other Mommy" is residing in her closet and desires to "enter her heart." Chastain will portray the family’s mother, who fights to protect her loved ones as the unsettling events at home intensify.
Incidents Around the House will be produced by Atomic Monster and Blumhouse, in collaboration with Spin a Black Yarn for Universal Pictures.
Savage, who rose to fame with the lockdown horror film The Host, has recently enjoyed success with The Boogeyman, another haunted house thriller that grossed nearly $70 million worldwide in 2023. He has also been associated with another Nathan Elston project titled Molepeople.
