Sam Neill is set to join the cast of Legendary's sequel in the Godzilla x Kong MonsterVerse.
If you wish to sidestep the chaos brought about by titans clashing on screen, then steer clear of Sam Neill, as the seasoned actor from Jurassic Park has once again agreed to be in the company of colossal creatures in Legendary’s Godzilla x Kong sequel.
According to a report from Deadline, Neill will be part of a cast led by Godzilla and King Kong, and will be accompanied by an impressive ensemble of human actors, including returning star Dan Stevens, as well as Kaitlyn Dever (The Last of Us), Jack O’Connell (Sinners), Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods), Matthew Modine (Stranger Things), and Alycia Debnam-Carey (Apple Cider Vinegar).
The Monsterverse is currently thriving, having accrued $2.52 billion since its inception with Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla. Additionally, a second season of the popular Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is completed, and last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The Empire, directed by Adam Wingard, achieved a record-high gross of $571 million globally for the franchise.
As of now, there are no available details regarding the plot or even a title for the upcoming monster showdown, but feel free to share your thoughts on Alan Grant’s entry into the Monsterverse by reaching out on our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
