Prime Video has unveiled a teaser trailer for Ballard, a spinoff of the procedural drama series Bosch, which centers on Detective Renee Ballard, portrayed by Maggie Q, as she manages the LAPD's inadequately funded cold-case unit.

The cast of Ballard also features Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, and Amy Hill. You can watch the trailer below...

"Ballard focuses on Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), who is responsible for overseeing the LAPD's new cold-case unit—a volunteer group that is severely underfunded and carries the city's largest case load. Ballard approaches these stagnant cases with both compassion and resolve. When she discovers a conspiracy during her inquiries, she will rely on her retired ally, Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), for support in navigating the threats that endanger both her unit and her own life."

Ballard is set to premiere on Prime Video this summer.
