In Bonaparte – A Mechanized Revolution, a corrupt government and influential oligarchs are driving the country to ruin. As the dictatorship runs unchecked, the streets become increasingly desperate until a single individual rises to spearhead a revolution aimed at reshaping the world. Players will step into 18th century France, assuming the role of Bonaparte in this alternate historical setting. They must determine the course to lead the populace, conscript battalions, and deploy giant mechs to reclaim the nation and rescue its citizens.
As the revolutionary leader, players will define and promote ideals for the people of France to strive toward, ideals that can liberate them from the tyranny of an oppressive and corrupt regime. Peaceful discussions might not always succeed, and when that occurs, it's time for players to engage in combat, marked by the clash of swords, the explosion of gunpowder weapons, and the earth-shaking advance of colossal mechs.
The revolution will unfold in real-time, allowing players to interact with notable historical figures like Robespierre, Lafayette, and Danton to enact laws, reform the government, and expand their influence. As this new lifestyle spreads throughout the nation, players will have the opportunity to develop and exploit new infrastructures in the territories they control.
Keep an eye out for Bonaparte – A Mechanized Revolution, launching on Steam on May 21st.
