A Doctor Who adventure set during the Time War featuring Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor is scheduled for release in June.

      Releasing this June from Big Finish Productions is a new audio box set featuring the Eighth Doctor. Titled Doctor Who: Time War – Uncharted: Pursuit, it takes place during the Time War and includes four episodes where the Doctor and his great-grandson Alex find themselves separated in an unexplored universe where the Time War is unfolding differently.

      Time War – Uncharted: Pursuit continues the story from last year’s Reflections and depicts the Doctor, who has turned against his previous companions, pursuing his great-grandson Alex (played by Sonny McGann) and starship pilot Cass Fermazzi (Emma Campbell-Jones). Alongside the manipulative Hieronyma Friend (Niky Wardley and Lizzie Hopley), who takes on the identities of the Doctor's former companions, the Eighth Doctor will stop at nothing to capture his targets.

      The episodes are as follows:

      - Spoil of War by Mark Wright: Alex and Cass arrive at a dark mansion where attendees are gathering to bid on a mysterious item, but what is that item and who stands to gain? Meanwhile, the Doctor and Hieronyma Friend are closing in on their path.

      - The Tale of Alex by Katharine Armitage tells the story of heroes and villains. Alex, the cosmic hero, lands on the famine-stricken world of Igg, where the residents believe their prayers have been answered. However, the villainous Doctor is hot on his trail, with his own agendas.

      - See-Saw by James Moran: Cass and Alex receive a distress call that directs them to 1920s London, only to find the city empty as if vacated just moments before. The Doctor and Friend arrive simultaneously at the same location, yet neither group can see or hear the other. What they do hear are incomplete nursery rhymes, but what consequences await if they finish them?

      - The First Forest by Tim Foley sees the Doctor crash-landing in a peculiar forest. Surrounded by both allies and foes, the Doctor will soon realize he has journeyed far beyond what even the Time Lords believed possible.

      Time War – Uncharted: Pursuit is set to release this June and is available for preorder now for £24.99 for the download version or £30.99 for the download and limited edition CD box set.
