      Amazon has unveiled the initial set of images for its upcoming thriller series, Countdown. Featuring Jensen Ackles from Supernatural and The Boys, the series also stars Eric Dane (Euphoria) and Jessica Camacho (Watchmen), who play members of an elite team tasked with investigating the murder of a Homeland Security agent.

      Created by Derek Haas, known for One Chicago and FBI, Countdown kicks off "when an officer from the Department of Homeland Security is killed in broad daylight. LAPD detective Mark Meachum, portrayed by Ackles, is brought onto a secret task force alongside undercover agents from various law enforcement sectors to conduct the investigation. However, the search for the murderer quickly reveals a much more malevolent conspiracy, leading to a race against time to protect a city of millions."

      In addition to Jensen Ackles, Countdown features Violett Beane (Death and Other Details), Elliot Knight (The Boys), and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock). The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime with three episodes on June 25th, followed by weekly episode releases. Check out the first look images here…
