Universal has unveiled a new trailer for the live-action remake of *How to Train Your Dragon*, highlighting visuals intended for IMAX screens. Directed by Dean DeBlois, the film features Mason Thomas as Hiccup and Gerard Butler reprising his animated role as Stoick the Vast, Hiccup's father. The release is scheduled for June. You can watch the trailer below...

On the rugged island of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been adversaries for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; *The Black Phone*, *For All Mankind*) is seen as different. The innovative yet unrecognized son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, returning to his voice role from the animated series), Hiccup challenges centuries of tradition by befriending Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unexpected friendship reveals the true essence of dragons, questioning the long-standing beliefs of Viking culture.

Accompanied by the determined Astrid (BAFTA nominee Nico Parker; *Dumbo*, *The Last of Us*) and the village’s eccentric blacksmith Gobber (Nick Frost; *Snow White and the Huntsman*, *Shaun of the Dead*), Hiccup faces a world divided by fear and ignorance.

As an ancient menace arises, threatening both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s bond with Toothless becomes crucial in creating a new future. Together, they must find a way to achieve peace, transcending the limits of their worlds and reshaping what it means to be a hero and leader.

*How to Train Your Dragon* features Mason Thomas, Gerard Butler, Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Browyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur.
