Taraji P. Henson plays a desperate single mother whose life descends into chaos when an incredibly bad day positions her as the prime suspect in a crime she never intended to commit.

A single mother’s life spirals into chaos as her already tough day becomes increasingly dire while she tries to care for her sick daughter. Faced with a world that seems apathetic to her plight, she finds herself confronted with impossible choices in a society that provides no safety net.
Straw will be available on Netflix on June 6th.
