The indie slasher The Boatyard has released a trailer in anticipation of its digital launch in June.

In anticipation of its digital release this June, Reel2Reel Films has unveiled a trailer for director Dale Stelly's indie slasher horror film, The Boatyard.

The movie follows five college students who, after their boat breaks down unexpectedly in the middle of the ocean, enlist the help of a seemingly helpful stranger. He offers to tow them to his boatyard, but they soon find themselves in a battle for survival when their psychopathic rescuer and his crew of murderous associates turn them into prey.

After a day of wild partying, the five students become stranded at sea due to their boat’s sudden malfunction. Fortunately, a stranger (Ferguson) appears from the darkness, offering to take the group back to his boatyard for repairs.

Unbeknownst to them, their savior has a sinister craving for murder, and they have unwittingly become his next targets.

As the group is picked off one by one, they are subjected to unspeakable horrors, as this deranged killer and his band of sadistic murderers delight in tormenting their victims, revealing increasingly terrifying and torturous methods for each teen.

The Boatyard is set to be released digitally on June 9th.
