      In advance of its world premiere at the Raindance Film Festival this June, a trailer has been released online for the forthcoming boxing drama Heavyweight.

      Written and directed by Christopher M. Anthony, the film stars Jordan Bolger as a heavyweight contender gearing up for a title fight he is unsure he can win.

      Joining Bolger in the cast are Jason Isaacs, Nicholas Pinnock, Jamie Bamber, Sienna Guillory, Blake Harrison, and Joplin Sibtain. You can watch the trailer below…

      HEAVYWEIGHT tells the story of wildcard boxing contender ‘Diamond’ Derek Douglas (Bolger) and his support team as they approach a title fight he questions his ability to win. The tension intensifies in real-time, with underhanded tactics and startling revelations coming to light. ‘Heavyweight’ offers a gripping and raw look into an aspect of elite sport that is seldom seen.

      Heavyweight is scheduled to debut as the opening feature of the 33rd Raindance Film Festival on June 18th, 2025.
