Netflix has released a new featurette for its popular series Wednesday, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the supernatural mystery drama. The clip features creators/showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, director Tim Burton, along with stars Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jenna Ortega, Isaac Ordonez, Joanna Lumley, and Hunter Doohan discussing what viewers can anticipate in season 2 of the Addams Family spinoff; you can watch it below.
"Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to roam the Gothic corridors of Nevermore Academy, facing new challenges and adversaries. This season, Wednesday must deal with family dynamics, friendships, and past rivals, leading her into another year filled with delightful darkness and quirky chaos. In season 2, Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the titular character, joined by Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Hunter Doohan, Billie Piper, Isaac Ordonez, Victoria Dorobantu, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo. Special guest appearances include Lady Gaga, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Fred Armisen, and Christopher Lloyd.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 will be available for streaming on Netflix starting August 6th, with Part 2 set to premiere on September 3rd.
