The trailer for the road trip comedy-drama Sunlight has been released.
Vertigo Releasing has released a trailer for Nina Conti's feature debut, the romantic comedy-drama titled Sunlight. The film centers around Jane (Conti) and Roy (Shenoah Allen), where Jane seeks an escape from a toxic relationship and Roy, a suicidal radio host, crosses paths with her. They devise a plan that could either fund a fresh start or lead them to imprisonment. Check out the trailer below.
In an effort to flee from her toxic situation, Jane (Nina Conti) dons a monkey costume and adopts a new identity. She meets Roy (Shenoah Allen), a radio host contemplating suicide, who offers her a chance at liberation. They embark on a journey in Roy's Airstream RV and soon come up with a scheme that could finance a new life but also risks landing them behind bars. Pursuing them is Jane's controlling partner, determined to halt Jane's newfound independence.
Sunlight is scheduled for release on June 6th.
