Clash of Clans is set to debut an animated series on Netflix.

      Sound the horns and raise the banners, as Supercell’s popular video game franchise Clash is coming to Netflix with a new animated series set in the beloved world of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

      The show will center around “a determined Barbarian who, despite being in over his head, must gather a group of misfits to defend their village while dealing with the comically absurd politics of war.”

      Fletcher Moules (Agent Elvis) will act as showrunner, having previously collaborated with Supercell to direct the original Clash of Clans animated clips. The script will be written by Ron Weiner (Silicon Valley), with Vancouver's ICON Creative Studio handling the animation.

      “Clash has been a worldwide gaming sensation for over a decade, packed with humor, action, and memorable characters that are ideal for an animated series,” stated John Derderian, Vice President of Animated Series at Netflix. “With the fantastic team at Supercell, including Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we are excited to bring the fun, chaos, and spirit of the Clash universe to life in a new format. We can’t wait for fans—both old and new—to witness the mayhem.”

      Clash will join a growing roster of animated video game adaptations on Netflix, alongside series like Castlevania, Arcane, Devil May Cry, Sonic Prime, and Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.
