Emily Hampshire will be part of Marvel's Vision series portraying the character E.D.I.T.H.
Marvel's forthcoming Vision TV series has added a new member to its cast. Joining Paul Bettany in the MCU series is Emily Hampshire, known for her role in Schitt’s Creek, who will portray the AI program E.D.I.T.H.
E.D.I.T.H. first appeared in Spider-Man: Far From Home, where the late Tony Stark, posthumously, bequeathed Peter Parker the AI, allowing him access to Stark Industries' satellites, technology, and weaponry for his Spider-Man duties. She has not been seen or mentioned since her brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home following the revelation of Spider-Man's identity and Peter Parker's subsequent legal troubles.
Previously titled Vision Quest, Vision picks up after WandaVision, focusing on the newly reconstructed Vision as he escapes S.W.O.R.D.'s influence to determine his identity on his own terms. Bettany reprises his role, which he initially started as Tony Stark's reliable AI, Jarvis, before transforming into Vision.
Also returning alongside Bettany is James Spader as the sinister Ultron, with Faran Tahir, Iron Man’s villain, reprising his role as Raza, the leader of the Ten Rings who kidnapped Tony Stark, inadvertently initiating his journey into becoming Iron Man. Newcomers to the MCU include T’Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor) as Jocasta, Ultron's bride, Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek) as E.D.I.T.H., Todd Stashwick (Star Trek: Picard), and Ruaridh Mollica (Sebastian).
Vision is expected to debut on Disney+ in 2026.
