MUBI has unveiled a trailer for the psychological thriller Lurker, which marks the directorial debut of Beef and The Bear producer Alex Russell.
Théodore Pellerin takes on the role of Matthew, a solitary retail worker who manages to infiltrate the inner circle of aspiring pop star Oliver (Archie Madekwe). However, as their connection starts to fray, Matthew realizes that being close to Oliver could become a matter of survival.

When twenty-something Matthew (Théodore Pellerin), a reclusive retail clerk in Los Angeles, meets the up-and-coming pop star Oliver (Archie Madekwe), he seizes the chance to join the in-crowd. Yet, maintaining his place proves challenging.
With a full entourage (including Havana Rose Liu, Zack Fox, Daniel Zolghadri, and Sunny Suljic) competing for Oliver's attention, Matthew must demonstrate that he is more than just a mere follower. As their friendship becomes increasingly strained and the allure of mainstream fame looms closer, staying close to Oliver turns perilous.
