The list continues to grow, with J.T. Mollner from Strange Darling and producer Roy Lee, known for A Minecraft Movie & Weapons, also entering the fray. There have also been rumors about discussions involving A24 and Texas native Glen Powell, although Powell would not act in this project but would take on a producer role.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise has generated over $251 million in global box office earnings across its various films. The most financially successful entry in the series is the 2003 remake, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which grossed over $107 million worldwide.
