Exclusive Trailer for Alexandra Simpson's No Sleep Till, Acquired by Factory 25 for Theatrical Release in July

After the theatrical releases of Eephus and Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point, Omnes Films is set to unveil its next feature in U.S. theaters. We are excited to exclusively reveal that Factory 25 has secured worldwide rights to Alexandra Simpson’s feature debut, No Sleep Till. Following its premiere at the Venice Film Festival last fall, the film has also been featured at New Directors/New Films and the Los Angeles Festival of Movies, with its theater release scheduled to begin on July 18 at NYC's Metrograph. In anticipation of the release, we are delighted to exclusively present the new trailer and poster.

Here’s the synopsis: “As a hurricane approaches the coastal town of Atlantic Beach, Florida, locals get ready for a mandatory evacuation. While tourists are leaving and residents are boarding up their homes, a few individuals find themselves inexplicably drawn to stay. This includes two long-time friends who choose ignorance in chase of their dream opportunity, a local teenager cycling through the encroaching night, and an obsessed storm chaser who recognizes this storm could be a pivotal moment in his career. Haunted by the impending loss of their hometown, they venture into the night, confronting the dangers that lie ahead with both intrigue and fear. Alexandra Simpson's debut—and the latest offering from the thriving collective Omnes Films (CHRISTMAS EVE IN MILLER’S POINT, EEPHUS, HAM ON RYE)—provides a mesmerizing take on the disaster genre, rich with ominous and dream-like qualities.”

Jared Mobarak remarked in his review, “A hurricane is approaching, and Atlantic Beach, Florida is in its direct line. Tourists are already gone, while most locals choose to stay. Why? This is hurricane territory; none of this is unfamiliar. Perhaps the storm will strike; perhaps it won't. Is it worth the hassle of leaving town for a chance? Or does the thrill of experiencing the storm firsthand outweigh the risk? And what about those who remain due to age or apathy? This is home, after all—it's all they’ve ever known. Alexandra Simpson’s No Sleep Till unfolds in a slice-of-life documentary style. It’s a serene film with stunning visuals (kudos to cinematographer Sylvain Froidevaux) and engaging characters grappling with the wild contrasts of maintaining a mundane life amid looming chaos.”
