Ballard continues to adapt Michael Connelly’s bestselling works, highlighting Detective Renée Ballard (Q) as she heads the LAPD’s newly established but underfunded cold case division, addressing some of the city’s most difficult and long-overlooked crimes with compassion and unwavering resolve. As she unravels cases that span decades, including a series of murders linked to a serial killer and the case of a murdered John Doe, she uncovers a perilous conspiracy within the LAPD. Aiding her in this quest are her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), as Detective Ballard confronts personal trauma, professional hurdles, and deadly threats to uncover the truth.

Ballard will premiere on Prime Video on July 9th.
