Cinephobia Releasing has unveiled a poster and a trailer for the slasher film Brute 1976, directed by Marcel Walz and set in the 1970s. The film pays tribute to cult favorites such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes, focusing on a group who discover what they think is an abandoned town in the desert, unsuspecting of the masked psychopaths who live there.

In 1976, a group of individuals on a photo shoot in the desert encounters an abandoned town named Savage. However, they are not alone, as a family of masked psychopaths has claimed Savage as their territory and is determined to uphold its notorious reputation.
Brute 1976 will be available on digital platforms starting August 26th.
