      Film Forum continues its screening of Apocalypse Now’s “roadshow edition” alongside the 4K restoration of Shall We Dance? A program featuring Laurel and Hardy will take place on Sunday.

      Paris Theater continues its extensive Hitchcock series while starting a Technicolor retrospective.

      IFC Center presents In the Mood for Love and In the Mood for Love 2001, while Ran is screened in a 40th-anniversary restoration; daily showings include Dogtooth, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Happiness, along with late-night screenings of Basic Instinct, Gummo, Mean Streets, and Querelle.

      Nitehawk Cinema features Smokey and the Bandit and a 35mm print of Clint Eastwood's Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil early on Saturday and Sunday.

      Metrograph will screen Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Volver, The Pirate, 8 Women, Strictly Ballroom, and Humpday, among many films in the Mikio Naruse series, all in 35mm; Shanghai Dreams, Mumblecore, The Show Must Go On, and Volver a Carmen are also continuing their runs.
