This marks the beginning of an emotional five-issue miniseries from writer Christopher Cantwell (Star Trek: Defiant) and artist Megan Levens (Star Trek), highlighting Starfleet’s most brave yet doomed crew members: the red shirts. At last, they have their own narrative.
The crew of the U.S.S. Warren, guided by a seasoned officer stationed on the snow-covered planet Arkonia 89, has a limited time to uncover spies attempting to steal classified information and keep Starfleet's secrets from falling into the wrong hands.
They contend with dangers not just from their unknown adversaries, but also from the harsh conditions and wildlife of a far-off planet. The lives of the red shirts and the integrity of Starfleet are at stake... and everyone is in peril.
Star Trek: Red Shirts #1 is set to be released on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.
