The trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 3 highlights breeding initiatives.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is set to significantly transform the experience, as Frontier's upcoming sequel will introduce breeding and family units. This new feature means players will need to manage not only large enclosures and temperamental carnivores but also baby dinosaurs. Interested in seeing it in action? Watch the video below.
For the first time in the series, players can create male and female dinosaurs that exhibit visible differences (yes, sexual dimorphism is now in the game) and pair them to generate offspring. These baby dinosaurs are not only adorable but will also inherit traits from their parents, enabling players to influence future generations by carefully choosing which dinosaurs are allowed to pass on their genes. It's akin to dinosaur matchmaking.
However, with the arrival of baby dinosaurs comes significant responsibility. Successfully breeding dinosaurs requires players to construct suitable nests and ensure each species’ comfort needs are satisfied. Once the young ones are up and about, players must manage their distinct social behaviors and how these impact the broader herd dynamic, likely making their park a bit more unpredictable.
