The trailer for the supernatural creature film The Drowned has been released.
Vertigo Releasing has unveiled the poster and trailer for The Drowned, a supernatural thriller directed and written by Samuel Clemens.
Having premiered at London FrightFest Halloween last year, the film follows three thieves who reach their remote coastal hideout after stealing a valuable painting, only to find that their third accomplice has vanished, leading them to suspect a malevolent force residing in the depths of the water below.
The cast features Alan Calton, Dominic Vulliamy, Michelangelo Fortuzzi, Lara Lemon, Lily Catalifo, Corrinne Wicks, and Sandrine Salyères. You can watch the trailer below…
The Drowned centers around three thieves who, after pilfering a priceless painting, arrive at a secluded seaside safe house only to realize their fourth member is missing. They must consider whether one of them could be behind her disappearance, or if a more ominous presence lurks in the waters beneath.
The Drowned is scheduled for release on October 6th in the UK and October 7th in the US.
