In the trailer for the horror film Your Host, friends struggle to stay alive in a serial killer's distorted game show.

      In anticipation of its world premiere at FrightFest this August, a poster and trailer have been released for DW Medoff's upcoming horror film, Your Host. The storyline follows four friends who head to a luxury cabin to celebrate a birthday, only to find themselves drugged and taken to an abandoned factory. There, they are compelled to take part in a series of brutal games in a sadistic game show-like torture chamber orchestrated by a serial killer.

      Four 23-year-old friends embark on a birthday getaway to a luxurious cabin, but during their celebration, they discover a VHS camcorder filming them from the woods. That night, they are sedated in their sleep by a man dressed in black who lurks in the shadows. Upon awakening, they find themselves in an abandoned factory transformed into a game show-inspired torture room.

      Their captor is a twisted host clad in an orange velvet suit and a horrifying mask, who forces the friends to play games and inflicts punishment on them for losing. In a shocking twist, it becomes clear that this is not a random act of violence; the host has a hidden connection to one of the friends. He offers them a chance to confess their identity, promising to free three while sacrificing one. When his intended victim remains silent, the brutal challenges persist.

      To stay alive, they must endure unique and deadly games crafted by a psychotic game show host. The host revels as the friends betray, harm, and ultimately begin to kill one another. However, the only path to freedom is through victory.

      Your Host is set to premiere at FrightFest on August 22nd.
