The Turbo Kid video game is set to be released on Nintendo Switch this August.

Outerminds Inc. is set to immerse Nintendo Switch players in a comically violent wasteland on August 5th with the launch of Turbo Kid (alongside a significant update for PC users). This game continues the story from the 2015 film, Tasking players with battling through a host of eccentric characters and rogues.

Turbo Kid is a Metroidvania single-player adventure where players navigate a nightmarish wasteland using the ultimate mode of transportation – a BMX bike. Riders will encounter a variety of foes and utilize an outrageous array of weapons, including Turbo Blasts, circular saws, rockets, lightning, ooze, and much more. There’s a quirky cast of characters to interact with, providing quests, dubious advice, and lots of humor.

      Key Features Include:

      - Navigate a mutant-ridden wasteland while leaving a trail of pixelated carnage in your wake.

      - Utilize the trusty BMX to speed through maps, unlock shortcuts, and take down enemies, with tricks being optional.

      - Gain access to a wide selection of weapons, from machetes to saw blades, allowing for ample pixelated mayhem.

      - Set after the film's events, players can carve their route through a distorted world filled with unusual characters.

      - No unskippable cutscenes, enabling players to speedrun through the storyline.

Mark your calendars for Turbo Kid's debut on Nintendo Switch on August 5th.
