The first trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to premiere exclusively in theaters this week alongside Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps. A poster has been released for the third installment of James Cameron's blockbuster sci-fi series, providing a first glimpse of the antagonist, Varang (Oona Chaplin), who leads the Na’vi Mangkwan Clan, also known as the Ash People.
Directed by James Cameron, Avatar: Fire and Ash sees the return of cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Dileep A. Rao, Matt Gerald, and Brandan Cowell. New cast members include David Thewlis, Oona Chaplin, and Michelle Yeoh.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19th.
