The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will conclude with its fourth season, and a new trailer for season 3 has been released.

      During the panel for The Walking Dead at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s journey as Daryl and Carol across Europe will come to a close, as the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is set to conclude with its newly-announced fourth and final season.

      "After a lot of discussion, we began filming season 4 three weeks ago; it will be a super-sized season," said showrunner David Zabel. "We’re producing eight episodes, which is fantastic… and this will truly allow us to wrap up Daryl and Carol's story in Spain, which will be very emotional and impactful. This will also conclude this chapter of their journey, the European adventure, making it the last season for this version of the show. As for what comes next for these characters, we’ll have to wait and see. There’s definitely more to explore, and discussions are ongoing, but it will indeed be the fourth and final season."

      Additionally, fans were shown a new trailer for the forthcoming third season.

      “Season three will follow Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier as they continue their efforts to find their way home to their loved ones. As they seek to return, their path leads them further off course, taking them through unfamiliar lands with changing conditions, where they witness the various impacts of the Walker apocalypse.”

      The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon features the return of Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, alongside actors such as Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín, and Stephen Merchant.

      The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon's third season will premiere on September 7th.
