
Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe reveals a preview of The Vampire Lestat along with a trailer for Talamasca: The Secret Order.
In significant news from Saturday's Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that the third season of Interview with the Vampire will debut in 2026 under the new title The Vampire Lestat, adapting the second book of Rice’s series as Sam Reid’s Lestat embarks on a new journey as a rock star.
Returning cast members include Reid, Jacob Anderson (Louis), Delainey Hayles (Claudia), Eric Bogosian (Molloy), and Assad Zaman (Armand). The Vampire Lestat will also introduce new cast members: Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius, Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus, Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks, and Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire.
Additionally, the panel unveiled the first trailer for Talamasca: The Secret Order. This spinoff series features Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Celine Buckens, Elizabeth McGovern, and Jason Schwartzman, with Eric Bogosian reprising his role as Molloy.
Talamasca is based on characters and themes from Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe and centers on a secret agency that observes and safeguards humanity from the supernatural realm. The narrative follows Guy Anatole, who becomes deeply involved in a world of secret agents and immortal beings that have historically maintained a delicate equilibrium with the mortal world.
Talamasca: The Secret Order is set to premiere on October 26th, while The Vampire Lestat is scheduled for 2026.
