Shout! Studios has unveiled the initial poster for Deathstalker, the forthcoming reboot of the cult classic sword and sorcery film produced by Roger Corman. Directed by Steven Kostanski (The Void, PG: Psycho Goreman), this new take on Deathstalker features Daniel Bernhardt (John Wick, The Matrix Reloaded) in the lead role as the warrior Deathstalker, with Patton Oswalt (Young Adult, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) portraying the kind-hearted wizard Doodad. In Deathstalker, the Kingdom of Abraxeon faces an onslaught from the Dreadites, who are the heralds of the long-deceased sorcerer Nekromemnon. After Deathstalker retrieves a cursed amulet from a battlefield littered with corpses, he becomes marked by dark magic and is pursued by fearsome assassins. To survive, he must lift the curse and confront the looming evil. Death is merely the beginning… of an epic adventure!
Deathstalker is slated for release on October 10th, 2025.
