      Shout! Studios has released the first trailer for director Steven Kostanski’s (PG: Psycho Goreman) reimagining of the 1983 cult classic Deathstalker, produced by Roger Corman.

      The action fantasy centers on the journey of the main character, Deathstalker (Daniel Bernhardt), as he attempts to lift the curse placed upon him by a cursed amulet, battling against legions of monstrous assassins and supernatural foes intent on his demise. Check out the trailer below…

      In Deathstalker, the Kingdom of Abraxeon is under attack by the Dreadites, servants of the long-gone sorcerer Nekromemnon. After Deathstalker retrieves a cursed amulet from a battlefield littered with corpses, he becomes marked by dark magic and hunted by monstrous assassins. To survive, he must break the curse and confront the rising evil. Death is merely the start… of an epic adventure!

      Deathstalker is set to hit theaters on October 10th.
