Magnolia Pictures has unveiled an enigmatic new teaser trailer for The Carpenter’s Son, a horror reimagining of Jesus' childhood directed and written by Lotfy Nathan. The film is inspired by the Infancy Gospel of Thomas and features Nicolas Cage, FKA Twigs, and Noah Jupe. You can watch it below…
“THE CARPENTER’S SON explores the dark tale of a family in hiding in Roman Egypt. The son, referred to simply as ‘the Boy,’ begins to experience doubt due to the influence of another mysterious child and rebels against his guardian, the Carpenter, uncovering his latent powers and a destiny he does not fully understand. As he begins to harness his abilities, the Boy and his family find themselves targeted by both natural and supernatural horrors.”
The Carpenter’s Son will be released soon by Magnolia Pictures.
