      We still have several months until the release of Scream 7, which will mark Neve Campbell's return as Sidney Prescott after her absence in Scream VI. While we wait for the first glimpse of the slasher sequel, we now have an official logo for the film.

      Scream 7 will be directed by Kevin Williamson, who penned the scripts for the original two Scream films and Scream 4. He will take the reins for the seventh installment following some controversy involving Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and director Christopher Landon, after Barrera was let go by Paramount and Spyglass Entertainment due to her remarks on social media.

      Neve Campbell had previously declined to appear in Scream VI, citing a lack of respect regarding her salary as the franchise's lead, but ultimately agreed to return for Scream 7 after the issue was resolved.

Courteney Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers, with Mason Gooding returning as Chad Meeks-Martin and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin. David Arquette will also return as Dewey Riley, along with former Ghostfaces Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley.

      New faces joining the franchise include Isabel May as Sidney’s daughter, Joel McHale as Sidney’s husband Mark Evans, Anna Camp, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Michelle Randolph, and Jimmy Tatro.
