      Drawing inspiration from Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM, Darkenstein 3D transports players to 1940s Germany, where they play as an American drifter whose beloved dog has been taken by Nazi villains. Equipped solely with a shotgun and a thirst for vengeance, players must infiltrate the enemy stronghold and battle through hordes of Axis soldiers, aliens, and unimaginable foes to rescue their kidnapped dog, Gunther.

      In a world plagued by war, players will uncover various conspiracies, including alien mysteries, bizarre abilities, and concealed horrors. Luckily, players will have a fierce rat companion to assist them in navigating the game’s 13 meticulously designed levels in pursuit of Gunther.
