The dark co-op survival horror game Jester: A Foolish Ritual is set to be released on Halloween.

      Indie developer Fire Foot Studios has revealed that their cooperative survival horror game, Jester: A Foolish Ritual, will be released on Steam on October 31st, making it a perfect way to celebrate All-Hallows Eve with friends. Up to four players can venture into a cursed castle while being pursued by a deranged Jester who's even scarier than Pennywise.

      Players begin as a resurrected knight trapped in the darkness of a deserted castle. The only means of escaping this accursed location and returning to the light is to complete a sacred ritual that will expel the evil jester haunting the castle. While navigating the eerie halls, players need to be cautious of the Jester’s demented jack-in-the-boxes, as activating one will unleash their greatest fear. They must tread lightly, avoid making excessive noise, and survive long enough to perform the banishment ritual to restore peace to the kingdom, allowing their knight to go back to being peacefully dead.

      Whether playing solo or teaming up with up to three friends, each playthrough will be distinct, featuring varied spawn points, persistent traps, and numerous unexpected encounters. Every session presents unique challenges, with increasingly dangerous threats as the Jester evolves in response to the player's actions.
